Wedding photography FAQs

For summer weddings and popular Lake District venues, 12–18 months is a comfortable window. Off-peak dates can often be booked 6–9 months ahead, although it is always worth asking about your date.

Collections start at £1,500 and go up to £2,500. Every collection includes unlimited coverage, a pre-wedding consultation, and a private online gallery. The higher collections add handcrafted albums, a second photographer, twilight portraits, and presentation products.

Yes. Coverage runs from getting ready through to the first dance and beyond, up to 10pm. There is no rushed finish just as the evening starts.

The Premium and Ultimate Collections include a second photographer. A second photographer can also be added to other collections, which is especially useful for larger weddings or preparations in separate locations.

Rain is part of the Lake District story. I plan indoor alternatives with your venue, build flexibility into the timeline, and use the weather to create atmospheric photographs rather than treating it as a problem.

You receive a carefully edited collection that tells the complete story of your day, delivered through a password-protected online gallery. Your final number depends on the size and pace of the celebration rather than an arbitrary limit.

You will receive a small preview shortly after the wedding, followed by your finished gallery once every image has been carefully edited and checked. I will explain the current delivery window when we speak about your date.

Yes. I cover Cumbria, Northumberland, and South-West Scotland, including Carlisle, the Eden Valley, the Northumberland coast, Dumfries and Galloway, and venues further afield by arrangement.
